A Podcast, a Record Review, and a Couple of Tweets
Well…this was a week. The Oklahoma City metro got covered in a blanket of iced rain, resulting in a good chunk of things shutting down; I, for once, got caught up with school; and it looks like World War III is getting ready to start. How was your week?

Oklahoma Lefty: Album Review: FTHC by Frank Turner
It’s been a bit, but I wrote a review for Frank Turner’s new album FTHC.
Frank Turner has this knack for putting out just the right music at just the right time. In 2018, his brilliant Be More Kind was, as I wrote in my review, "the uplifting hope and inspiration that the world needs." Now in 2022, Turner's latest album FTHC perfectly expresses the pent-up anxiety, frustration, and tension along with the longing, yearning, and hope that has been building for the last two years since the beginning of the COVID-19 pandemic.

How many artists, on album number nine, smashed it right out of the pack on the first swing? FTHC is the album to beat in 2022, it is the record by which all others will be judged, and on top of that, it is one of Turner's best yet.

Final Thoughts…
I don’t talk about having one hand all that much (unless it’s for a joke…hand humor is the best) but one of the most frustrating things about my situation is dealing with sleeves. Whether it is trying to button, unbutton, or roll up a long sleeve shirt or attempting to straighten out an undershirt sleeve, doing it while missing five fingers is a b*tch. That felt good to admit out loud.
Stay safe out there and…
