RIP Dave Kendall

This one hurts.

Dave Kendall, the creator and host of MTV’s 120 Minutes has passed away.

I’m not sure that I can properly explain or put into words the impact Kendall and 120 Minutes had on me. In high school, as I was learning about the greater punk and punk adjacent scenes and genres known as “alternative music,” Kendall was my guide and teacher. I learned so much from him and his show, things that I carry with me to this day.
